Fantasy Flute is more than a performance - it's a dream made real through music, imagination, and storytelling. I’ve always been enchanted by fantasy worlds and the haunting, beautiful sound of the flute. Bringing those two loves together has become my way of adding a bit of wonder to the world through live performances, cinematic videos, and little moments of magic that invite you to step into another realm for a while.

Whether I’m playing at a fantasy ball, a whimsical wedding, a Renaissance Faire, a cosy bookish gathering, or a secret garden party, I love shaping each performance to fit its setting - from soft, intimate background melodies to big, theatrical moments that turn music into a story.

At the heart of Fantasy Flute is my belief that music is a form of storytelling. Whenever I can, I love to play outdoors, letting forests, old ruins, and open skies become part of the sound. That same feeling of wild, natural magic lives in my videos too. I film them in beautiful locations and style each one with a hint of otherworldly charm, so they feel like tiny windows into another world.

Performance Packages

Enchanted Prelude starting from £100, up to 20 guests

This magical flute performance is designed to transform even the simplest gathering into something extraordinary! Perfect for cozy, intimate events like bookish gatherings, afternoon teas, garden picnics, or private celebrations. I perform a curated selection of fantasy-inspired music, including themes from beloved films, games, and TV series. All this while dressed in costume to suit your setting.

I bring my own high-quality Bluetooth speaker, so whether you’re gathered indoors by candlelight or outside among the trees, the sound is clear and atmospheric. This performance is simple to set up, easy to enjoy, and leaves your guests with a warm sense of wonder.

The Mystic Melody starting from £200, up to 50 guests

Bring a sense of wonder to your event with Mystic Melody — a live flute performance designed to create a magical atmosphere for your guests to enjoy as they mingle and relax.

Best for themed parties, intimate weddings, book launches, fantasy fairs, or any celebration where you’d like enchanting background music to make the day feel extra special. This performance features a longer set of well-loved music from fantasy films, games, and series, all performed in costume to match your theme.

You can choose between a purely acoustic performance for a more natural, roaming feel or a set with high-quality backing tracks for a fuller sound. I bring my own Bluetooth speaker, so there’s no need to worry about equipment, just pick your setting, indoors or outdoors.

This package is mainly intended as atmospheric background music to add warmth and magic without overpowering your event. It also includes up to three special song requests of your choice, making it easy to tailor the performance to your gathering.

The Grand Fantasia starting from £300, larger events

The Grand Fantasia is a fully immersive, visually striking performance where the music is the moment. Designed for fantasy balls, conventions, large-scale gatherings, and theatrical events, this package combines two different moments of live music: gentle background music to welcome everyone in, and a dedicated centre-stage performance later on, giving guests a chance to pause, listen, and lose themselves in something beautiful for a while.

I perform in full costume and adapt each set to fit the atmosphere you’re creating - from quiet, airy melodies drifting through a ballroom to powerful fantasy themes that bring everyone together in one shared moment. The music can be purely acoustic or supported by carefully chosen backing tracks for a rich, cinematic sound.

I bring my own sound equipment and am always happy to include up to three special requests. I love weaving your favourite pieces into the set to make it feel truly yours!

Whether I’m playing softly in the background as people arrive or stepping into the spotlight later in the evening, my aim is simple: to create moments of calm, wonder, and connection through music.

Where I Perform

I’m based in London and travel is included within all six London zones. If your event is further afield, just get in touch and we can chat about travel arrangements and fees.

Sound & Setup

I provide everything I need for the performance, including a high-quality Bluetooth speaker if backing tracks are part of your set. For smaller spaces, I can play acoustically with no setup at all. Access to a power source may be needed for larger indoor or outdoor venues.

Insurance

I’m fully covered with Public Liability Insurance (PLI).

Repertoire & Song Requests

My Mystic Melody and Grand Fantasia packages include up to three song requests at no extra cost - perfect if you’d like to add a few personal favourites to the set. If you’d like more than three, I’m happy to arrange extra pieces for a small additional fee. Please allow at least two weeks’ notice for any special requests so I can prepare them for you.

How to Book

To book, simply email me info@laurapahkel.com with your event date, location, budget, and a little bit about what you’re planning. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible to confirm details and answer any questions. To secure your date, I ask for a deposit when you confirm your booking, with the remaining balance due before the event. I’m always happy to chat about specifics and help you choose the right package and setlist.
